What if the caretaker and my parent don't get along?

We keep a close eye on the first month and flag any mismatch early. If a change is needed, we find a new caretaker and manage the handover.

Are live-in caretakers medically trained?

Caretakers give personal care and basic support. They are not nurses. For medical tasks, book a nurse visit or nursing shifts.

What is respite care?

Respite care gives you a break from caring. A trained caretaker stays with your parent at home for a few hours, a night or a few days, so you can rest or get things done.

What's the difference between respite care, a regular caretaker and a live-in caretaker?

Respite care is for a break: a few hours, a night or a few days, once or every week. A regular caretaker comes on set days for a day or night shift as part of your parent's routine. A live-in caretaker stays at your parent's home.

Can I choose a female or male caretaker?

Yes. Tell us your preference when you book.
