Poor nutrition is one of the most common and most overlooked problems in elderly care. An elderly parent managing diabetes, hypertension, or kidney disease in Bangalore may be eating entirely the wrong things — not out of carelessness, but because no one has sat with them, reviewed their medications, understood their food preferences, and created a practical meal plan that works in their actual kitchen. Kareverse coordinates a registered dietitian's home visit, at ₹800 per session. The dietitian assesses your parent's current diet against their health conditions and any drug-nutrient interactions, and creates a specific, seasonal, locally appropriate meal plan. Your Care Manager follows up on implementation — ensuring your parent and any cook or domestic help understand and are following the plan.
What's Included
Who It's For
Diabetes or hypertension management
Most elderly diabetics in India manage their condition with medication alone. Diet — which can reduce medication requirements and prevent complications — is almost entirely ignored. A dietitian visit changes this.
Unintended weight loss or poor appetite
When a parent stops eating properly, the family often doesn't know until it becomes serious. The Care Manager notices it on visits. A dietitian session creates a plan that works with the parent's preferences and restrictions.
Post-surgery or illness recovery
Nutritional requirements change significantly after surgery or serious illness. The right diet accelerates recovery. The CM coordinates the dietitian and ensures the plan is actually being followed at home.
How It Works
WhatsApp us with your parent's health conditions, current medications, and any specific concern (weight loss, diabetes management, post-surgery recovery). We schedule the dietitian visit.
A registered dietitian visits your parent's home. Your Care Manager is present throughout — asking questions, taking notes, and ensuring the assessment is thorough.
The dietitian creates a practical meal plan suited to your parent's conditions and preferences. The CM explains it to your parent and any caretaker, and sends the full written report to you.
On the next regular visit, the CM checks how the plan is being followed, what's working, and what needs adjustment. Any concerns are flagged to the dietitian or doctor.
