Can the Care Manager go into the doctor's consultation room?

Yes, wherever permitted. The CM introduces themselves as the patient's family representative. Most hospitals and clinics accommodate this. If restricted, the CM waits immediately outside and debriefs with your parent right after.

What if the appointment leads to an unplanned hospital admission?

The CM stays and helps — admission paperwork, insurance documentation, communication with the medical team, and family updates — until the situation is stable or a family member arrives.

How do I choose between a home visit and teleconsult?

A doctor home visit (₹2,500) is best for parents with limited mobility, post-surgical recovery, or conditions needing a physical examination.
